While many activities focus on the 9-hole executive golf course with clubhouse, putting green, and practice areas, the community also offers a wealth of other amenities. A focal point in Salemtowne is an auditorium called the Towne Hall with a stage, piano, and A/V equipment. The Towne Hall converts easily from multi-purpose room for meetings and parties to a pickleball court and an exercise area. The century old farmhouse, which was part of the original orchard, functions as an activity space and includes a lending library, a game room and fitness center.
The game room houses two billiard tables, shuffleboard table and dart boards. There are additional rooms currently available for arts and crafts, sewing and quilting, as well as woodworking and lapidary. Another unique feature of this community is the greenhouse where residents can cultivate their plants and store them for the winter. A heated pool, a patio and grilling area, and free RV/boat and vehicle storage complete the amenities.
