Salemtowne Civic Association

The AUDIO/VISUAL COMMITTEE is responsible for the development and maintenance of all Salemtowne audio and visual equipment with oversight by the Director of Operations.

The Committee shall:

  • Monitor all A/V systems.
  • Adjust and repair within the scope of the Committee’s expertise.
  • Educate Salemtowne Groups and Committees on how to operate basic equipment.
  • Assist in setting up and operating the equipment, when more complicated procedures are required.
  • Assist and/or operate the equipment for outside groups only at the direction of the Board of Directors.
  • Assist in the purchase of any new equipment to help assure that it is compatible with existing equipment.
  • Setup the audio and video for private events such as weddings, birthday parties, and memorials along with Salemtowne events such as Women’s and Men’s Golf, Women’s Club, Bingo, Soup and Bean Bag, and Community Board meetings.

 

Setup requests:

  • Setup requests will include requests for the basic wired microphone and stereo system.
  • For additional equipment, handheld microphones, lapel microphones, or video projector, the Audio/Visual committee would be responsible for set up and take down.

 

Golf Building Sound System:

  • The golf shop system consists of one amplifier, one microphone, and three speakers. One speaker on the west side, east side, and the south side.

 

Portable Sound System:

  • The portable sound system consists of a 100-Watt Bluetooth outdoor speaker with a microphone and radio.  The unit has a telescopic handle, wheels and USB charging.
