There have been two new upright stationary bicycles installed in the Fitness Center along with one stair-stepper. This will be the end of additional equipment installation in service of leaving sufficient open space in the room for floor exercise classes.
After recieving complaints about TV noise in the Fitness Center, the Board decided that the TV will remain on mute unless it is being used for group exercise instructional videos. Closed captioning is available on the TV as an alternative to sound.
The Board has decided to contract to have quarterly inspection and maintenance of the Fitness Center equipment. The approximate cost will be $780.00 annually to have the equipment inspected every three months. This decision furthers the Community’s goal to aggressively pursue risk management opportunities.
Speaking of risk managment … the Board is seeking additional community members willing to serve on the new Risk Management Committee. Qualifications include esprit de corps and the desire to explore ways to minimize liability risk for the community’s common assets. Interested, or interested in seeing if you are interested?
